Verbal offer, not ready to commit

Thank you so much for your generous offer. I am thrilled and excited about the future opportunities here at ________.

I am very impressed with (list 2 or 3 things you like about the school/program) the coaching staff and the strong academics.  I'm also excited about the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the team.

This is obviously a very big decision for me and my family.  It will not only have a great impact on my college career, but for the rest of my life.  I want to discuss it further with my family as I am not ready to make this big decision yet.  It benefits the both of us that I take the necessary time to make sure of my college choice.
