I would also greatly appreciate you not making this information public as I would like to personally call the other schools and coaches that also recruited me.

If they begin making statements or asking more questions, like "but do you know .....", or "have you really thought about ......", you can cut it short and say,

"My family and I created a very detailed decision making process on what we were looking for and NAME OF SCHOOL matched our criteria. Thanks again for everything coach. I want to wish you much success next season."
