Should Parents go on Campus Visits

Parents go on unofficial visits or not?

This is personal family decision you have to determine based on your son's/daughter's level of maturity, trust in them, your personal comfort and involvement you'd like to have in the decision making and college evaluation process. Each family should evaluate this on their own including the cost of traveling to each school.
Yes it's definitely okay to send your child on a college visit by themselves. I would have your child ask the coaches what the lodging/transportation arrangements are in terms of potential player housing / hotel, to and from the airport and what the tentative agenda is going to be why they're there.
